Certif-ID is a blockchain-based firm that offers a “Future of Work” platform for international skilled professionals. The firm has a vision to remove “international Borders” and enable skilled professionals to work wherever there is a demand. The platform’s infrastructure employs blockchain technology to bring visibility, transparency and trust to employment candidates and employers across the globe. The firm has a product called CredSure – an SaaS(Software as a Service) platform that supports companies looking to digitize credentials and anchor them to blockchain for the purpose of instant verification. Certif-ID also has TalentSure, a platform that connects verified talent with employers and therefore, streamlining recruitment while automating the process.
In a recent seed financing round, Certif-ID has secured $1.6 million in an event led by NRW Bank. The funding round also saw participation from numerous angel investors including Andreas Weinberger, Malte Pollman – a Supervisory Board member at Utimaco Group, Jörg Will – a partner IFP Executive Search and Michael Bernhörster – Head of Advisory at Schilling Group. Certif-ID aims to leverage the continued support of TÜV Rheinland to utilize the proceeds of the funding round in facilitating further expansion of its activities in Europe and into Asia. The firm also intends to use the funds in advancing its technology platform through further development.
According to Tim Miller, the co-founder and CEO of Certif-ID, the demand for skilled labor across the globe has never been stronger than it is at the current moment. Despite the huge demand, recruitment, skill verification and issuance of Visa processes have been slow to adapt to match the demand. Therefore, there is an urgent need to automate and digitize these processes so as to minimize any adverse economic impact resulting from their inefficiencies. Certif-ID’s second co-founder, Markus Dohm also expressed his thrill to be supported by NRW Bank with their re-launched NRW-SeedCap program.
By creating trust in international technical recruitment, Certif-ID’s technology and service portfolio digitizes credentials, builds verifiable talent pipelines and automates skill recognition while minimizing cross-border recruitment efforts.
The 2 major products offered by Certif-ID are domiciled on two different platforms, that is CredSure and TalentSure. The latter build talent pipelines across several professional fields including Healthcare, Logistics, IT and Engineering while matching and developing over 300K employment candidates to 16K jobs across 25 countries with automated workflow. CredSure on the other hand handles digitizing of credentials by increasing brand security with blockchain and ultimately creating exponential growth in lead generation. The firm is committed to protecting users’ data as it is secure and compliant to multiple compliance standards including ISO 27001.
Founded in 2020 in Cologne Germany, Certif-ID employs 20 people in India and Germany. Through its revolutionary infrastructure, the firm is poised to become a leading global firm in streamlining cross-border talent recruitment in a manner that is verifiable, transparent and secure.
