Bloxmith launches a new decentralized game for web2 and web3 gamers on the Flow blockchain network.

Bloxmith, a gaming studio for web3, has launched a beta version of its mobile strategy game on the Flow blockchain network for mobile gamers. The game, Raiders Rumble, is now available for download on Android and IOS mobile devices through their online vendors Google Play and Apple App Store respectively. The game is set to bridge the gap between web2 and web3 gaming as it supports both technologies in an effort to onboard web2 gamers onto the web3 gaming platform.

Bloxmith was founded in 2021 by experienced gamers from several companies including Facebook Gaming, Pumpkin VR and Riot Games among others. Since then, the company has been on a mission to develop player-first games that keep their users playing and engaged even after many rounds of playing with help from investors including Bitoro, Vayala and Infinity Venture Crypto among others.
Flow on the other hand, is a layer-1 decentralized blockchain network. Flow provides onboarding services for users while creating a framework for blockchain developers to innovate games on the web3 platform that ensure transparency, security and usability for gamers. It is basically a one stop shop for creators, game development studios and other actors in the crypto sector including venture capital startups as well as crypto lenders and financiers. The blockchain network creates an ecosystem with the required infrastructure to push blockchain game development on web3 onto another level.

Raiders Rumble is a strategic game that involves gamers in making strategic decisions quickly in an effort to counter the opponent’s moves. The game also hosts tournaments through the platform for the top 50% of its players. In addition to hosting tournaments, the platform also rewards its users with in game assets like the RUMB token that has been built into the game as its digital asset. Though these tokens do not have any added advantage in game play, they offer value to the players as collectibles.

For starter gamers, no tokens or NFTs are needed to start playing. The platform does not require them to have crypto wallets in an effort to bridge the gap between the web2 and web3 gaming experience. The CEO of Bloxmith, Wayne Lee, has expressed his delight in the project’s achievements in solving scalability problems for games and digital assets giving the gamers a seamless game play experience. As an incentive to onboard more gamers onto the platform, Raiders Rumble has organized for 3 tournaments under Flow’s sponsorship to take place between March 23-31. The sponsored tournaments will allow gamers a chance to grab FLOW tokens amounting to $120 000 if they show best strategies in game play.
