Numra, an AI-driven financial automation company based in Ireland, has successfully raised €1.5 million in funding. Previously known as Autonifai, Numra offers AI solutions designed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of finance teams by automating their workflows.
Numra’s platform helps employees by taking over labor-intensive tasks like data entry, reconciliations, and error investigations. With the new funding, the company plans to hire additional staff in product and engineering, further develop its technology, and expand its presence in the US market.
David Kearney, co-founder and CEO of Numra, stated, “AI is set to revolutionize the roles of accountants and finance departments globally. Our AI can process large volumes of unstructured data, pushing the limits of productivity and transforming finance operations.”
The funding round was spearheaded by Elkstone. Niall McEvoy, Venture Partner at Elkstone, commented, “Numra exemplifies how Irish innovators are utilizing artificial intelligence to tackle both current and future challenges in the financial sector.”
