1inch, a decentralized exchange aggregator, has teamed with Unstoppable Domains to assist consumers simplify bitcoin payments, a move that the business believes will increase the use of DeFi goods and services.
Unstoppable domains which has recently hit unicorn status, allows users own their digital identy on the web by providing old school domains but with crypto extensions and properties. Users with such domains could be able to receive crypto on the domains. An example of such a domain would be space.crypto, space.xyz, space.eth. When transferring crypto payments through Unstoppable’s naming service, 1inch wallet customers will be able to use domain names understandable by humans. Users may now utilize customisable domain names instead of long alphanumeric crypto wallet addresses. The wallet address, like other Unstoppable Domains addresses, will be issued on the blockchain as a nonfungible token (NFT), with no additional minting or renewal costs.
“The issues of user experience, security and identity are still holding back Web3 mainstream adoption,”Sergej Kunz, 1inch Network’s co-founder, said the Unstoppable Domains partnership could promote the wider adoption of Web3 products and tools.
